Who Am I?

I'm Wellington, a dedicated Ph.D. candidate in Cyber Studies at The University of Tulsa, driven by a passion for enhancing cybersecurity operational efficiency and governance. My research bridges the gap between theoretical insights and practical applications, aiming to build more resilient and streamlined security infrastructures. With a background that includes leadership roles in academia and hands-on experience in IT consulting, I'm committed to contributing meaningfully to the evolving landscape of digital security.

I love working with all kinds of technology. My ambition is to become a highly competent technologist who creates simple, effective solutions to everyday challenges—especially in ICT—while developing optimization techniques applicable across industry settings. I am naturally curious and constantly try to understand how things work. I enjoy tinkering—mostly DIY projects (or Destroy It Yourself, as I like to call it)—though more often than not, I succeed and end up fixing things in surprisingly professional ways (not to blow my own horn!).

In my life, I am guided by my faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe the divine purpose for humankind is to fully realize their potential, which profoundly inspires my continuous pursuit of excellence. My aspiration is to remain driven and innovative throughout my career, ensuring I aspire before I retire. It is with this spirit that I sometimes have wild ideas that I am eager to document and share—not just as a snapshot of my thoughts at a moment in time, but as a way to spark conversation or even debate.
